This was an interesting graphic novel about witches, werewolves, friendship, love and magic. The artwork of the novel was really nice and I enjoyed the story and the characters. This was the perfect time of year to read this book!

Wow! I really loved this audiobook and I was amazed and surprised at the ending as I thought I had everything worked out, but obviously not. The ending was not what I was expecting at all!
The book is about a policeman called Jack Harper and his ex wife Anna Andrews, who is a news presenter for the BBC. They both get involved in solving a thrilling story from their past which has been bringing about the murders of people they know. The story is told from both of their points of view (his and hers), as well as additional writing from the murderer.
The characters of the book and the story are very interesting and just when you think you understand something, the story shoots off in a different direction. It is like being on a fast train but never knowing where you are going next. I didn't want to get off the train and I wanted it to keep going. The book was very fast paced and exciting and I kept wanting to read on to find out who the murderer was.
The audiobook narrator was fantastic and they really made the story come alive.
I highly recommend this book. It is so good and I will read more of this author's work in the future.

I really enjoyed this audiobook and the narrator was fabulous. I loved the separate stories of Gareth, Alice and Ursula and how these characters came together in the end to fight against the stalker. The stories of their pasts and their traumas were very interesting and I enjoyed the psychology in the book. I found that after the first quarter of the book, the plot got more intense and I was then eager to read on to find out who the "baddie" was and what would happen.
I look forward to reading more of this author's books.

Wow, this is an awesome book and I loved it very much! I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was amazing. She was so funny and I loved the way she changed her voice to suit each of the characters.
The story is about a middle aged woman called Kate who is feeling depressed because her husband Luke died from cancer. She has a dream where she goes back in time to see him when they were both teenagers and she helps him in an unexpected way. When she wakes up from the dream she has to deal with a crazy situation at her work which involves a lot of action and fun. In the end, Kate is not depressed anymore and she finds happiness with a certain someone.
I really loved this book and I found it heartwarming, funny, happy, sad, eccentric and everything in between. It would make a really fantastic movie. I highly recommend this book and I am so happy to have found a new author, who is very talented.
I have been really enjoying listening to lots of audiobooks through the netgalley app and discovering all of these new wonderful books and authors that I probably wouldn't have found otherwise.

This is a cute children's audiobook that I listened to with my daughter. The story is about a 7 year old girl called Piper who skips school and finds a magical fairy tree which gives her some beautiful gifts. I enjoyed this little story and my daughter did too, especially at the end. The narrator of the book had a lovely voice which was very uplifting.

This is a fun, educational and interesting book for children which shows the Bod Squad investigating the Circulatory System of the human body by going inside their friend's body for a closer look. They find out how the heart works and how blood gets circulated around the body. This is a great book about a girl called Emmie Blue who, at age 16, released a red balloon with a secret message hidden inside. The balloon was then found on a beach in France by a boy called Lucas. Emmie and Lucas become best friends and she eventually realises that she has a secret crush on him. On her 30th birthday she hopes that Lucas is going to kiss her and ask her to be his girlfriend, but he tells her that he is engaged to someone else and is going to get married. Emmie is devastated, but she stays best friends with Lucas and along the way, her own love story with someone else might be on the cards.
I really enjoyed this book a lot and I highly recommend it. I listened to the audiobook version of the title and I loved the narrator, who had a lovely voice and was very good at portraying the different characters and different situations. I also had a great experience with the netgalley app, which I loved using.

This is a heartwarming book about the plants and flowers that the author had an association with at important times of her life. It is a very interesting book and I enjoyed reading about the different plants, since I am a plant lover and gardener. I also enjoyed reading about the different memories that the author had and how they related to each plant.

This is an interesting and helpful mind therapy book which is designed to help teenagers with their feelings and emotions. Based on CBT, the author, who is a psychologist, assists the reader in helping them to rationalise their feelings and put things into perspective. She provides some useful tools which I will take into account to help me with my own feelings and emotions.

This is a wonderful Christmas book for children. It has really beautiful and unique illustrations and the writing is superb. The book is set around the 12 Days of Christmas song and I enjoyed singing the song to my daughter as we were reading the book and looking at the gorgeous pictures. My daughter thought this book was really fun and she enjoyed counting all of the people, animals and items in the book. She also loved the black cat and she was excited every time she saw it. This is a book that I will read with her again, as it is coming up to Christmas time. This book is highly recommended for children of all ages and it is a fun, joyful book that will get you and your child into the Christmas spirit!

This is a very interesting children's book, with beautiful illustrations that look very professional. The reason I found it so interesting is that there are six new words/expressions in the book which are in different languages.
The book is about a family who go to the city zoo to look at the beautiful animals there. They have to find a solution to a problem between their family pet and one of the zoo animals.

This beautifully illustrated children's book would make a great Christmas gift for any child, especially those aged 3-8 years old. The book is about a dragon called Duffy who helps Santa and his reindeer on Christmas Eve. My daughter and I really enjoyed this book, especially the rhyming words and illustrations. This is a lovely children's book about Monty the donkey who goes on adventure while following some geese. He thinks he is travelling very far, but after ending up back at his home, he realises that he had just gone around his local area and back. Although he enjoyed his big adventure, he missed his friends and his home and he was so happy to see them at the end. It helped him to appreciate what he had and he realised that he does not really need anything else in order to be happier or more fulfilled. My daughter and I enjoyed the story and the colourful illustrations.

This is a cute children's picture book which shows different farm animals and the noises that they make as they wake up in the morning. On each page there is a clue as to which farm animal will be shown next and my daughter really enjoyed guessing which animal was coming up next in the book. This is a cute and loving little children's picture book for babies and toddlers, that shows baby animals being kissed. My daughter loved this book and asked me to also kiss her on her ears etc the same way that the baby animals were being kissed by their parents. I was pleasantly surprised with this children's book about a boy called Robert who baked a big cake in order to have a cake party. His party didn't go to plan but there was a happy ending which filled Robert with joy. The story of this book was lovely and I enjoyed seeing Robert do a lot of things with his Dad and his dog. The illustrations were very bright and colourful. My daughter enjoyed the book too and immediately said that she wanted to also have a party and have a big cake!

This book made me feel excited for the winter time. It is a children's book about a boy called Rupert and his Mum, who go outside in the snow to have fun and make a snowman. Rupert doesn't want to leave his snowman behind so he comes up with a plan to have it closer to him when he is back at his house. My daughter loved this book and it made her want to play in the snow too. It is a good book to remind us how to play with our inner child and feel the magic of winter time.

This is a children's book about a girl called Ella who had to come up with a plan to stop her cousins from arguing and fighting at her mother's birthday party. The illustrations were very colourful and detailed and the text was quite long and in rhyme form. My daughter enjoyed the book, however it was a bit long for her (she is only 4), so I think this book would suit children a bit older. She did enjoy looking at the pictures though and listened to most of the story. The message of the book was good and I enjoyed seeing the big extended family and how they interacted with each other.

What can I say? This is an amazing book which left me speechless and it is now one of my favourite books. I really loved it and highly recommend it! It was a delight to read, and for me, it was a heart filled, emotional book, which many ups and downs, which had me smiling one minute and crying the next.
The book is about a lovely and sweet old lady called Eudora who befriends a cute little girl called Rosie and an older gentleman called Stanley. Together the trio have some lovely adventures and they grow to love each other very much.
Throughout the book, Eudora wishes to die, as she does not feel as though she has much left to live for, and so she arranges to die in a clinic. Rosie and Stanley show her what life really is and the love they have for her affects her decision. She lives the last part of her life in happiness with her new friends, who are like family to her and she becomes very peaceful and content.
The story has flashbacks to Eudora's life when she was younger and this was very interesting.
I listened to the audio version of this book through the netgalley app and this was a wonderful experience. The narrator was absolutely amazing and her performance was outstanding! I also loved the title of the book and the bright, colourful book cover.

This is a lovely short story about an elderly woman named Ethel, her dog Scamp and her young neighbour Fearne. Fearne is grieving for her brother who died and Ethel is lonely, so they both help to keep each other company and Fearne helps Ethel with her shopping. Scamp the dog loves them both and is always excited to be with them and receive some yummy treats from Fearne. This story will be continued in Cathy Bramley's next book, which I look forward to. I really enjoyed this short story.

This is a fantastic book for older children, which teaches some wonderful messages, such as how to be kind to others, to be friendly and helpful, to study hard, to be creative, to work with magical energy, to try your best and to never give up.
I really loved this book, which was about a girl called Emeline who is a mermaid who lives under the sea in a magical kingdom. She enters the Talented Tiara contest where she plays her ukulele beautifully, however her ukulele breaks and she has to find a replacement so that she can play again in the finals of the contest. Unfortunately, she has trouble with another mermaid who is jealous of her, but in the end she overcomes all obstacles and fulfills her dreams. Emeline has a few friends who are very kind to her and she also meets some magical people who help her. There might even be some romance in the air!
I really loved the characters of this book and the story. The magic of the book made me feel very joyful and happy. I highly recommend this wonderful book!

This is a wonderful children's picture book, with beautiful photographs and a lot of useful educational information on different kinds of fish from all over the world. I really enjoyed reading this book with my daughter and we both learned a lot about fish. She had fun looking at the photos and some of the fish looked funny to her. Fish are interesting beings and I was amazed at the many different types of fish there are out there. It was also interesting to see all the different colours of fish and their different markings and methods of self preservation. This would be a great book for a classroom.

This is a really funny children's book that my daughter and I loved. It is about a baby chicken who talks a lot and her family are too busy to chat to her, so she goes searching for someone to talk to. She finds a big egg which she nurtures until something very cute comes out of it and becomes her new friend. Her new friend is a very good listener and this suits baby chick as she always has a lot to say and she always wants someone to listen to her. The story of this book made us laugh and the illustrations were very nice to look at.

This children's book is about a little girl called Jade who is scared of the dark while she is in her bed trying to get to sleep. The moonlight comes and lights up her room, showing her that there is nothing to be scared of and then she is able to go to sleep peacefully.

This is a fun children's picture book that is suitable for babies, toddlers and very young children. It shows a friend called Buddy who presents the alphabet and each letter has one item that relates to it. The illustrations are very bright and colourful, which babies will love. My daughter and I enjoyed this book and we will read it again. I liked the way in which the child can guess what the item is and which letter is at the beginning of the word before there is a reveal which shows the correct answer. This is, in my opinion, what makes it also suitable for young children and not just for babies and toddlers.

I really loved this audiobook and I enjoyed it very much. It was an easy going, comforting book about a grandmother called Eileen and her grandaughter Lena, who both swapped places to enjoy living each other's different lives. It was quite a funny book and it made me smile a lot. I enjoyed all the different characters and their quirky ways.. The ending was lovely and I was happy to see Eileen and Lena settle down and be happy.
This book reminded me of the book A Man Called Ove, although I would say this book is better. This was a new author for me, but I would love to read more books by this author.
I loved the narrators in the audiobook; they really made the story come alive and listening to the book helped to get the good humour across, especially when Eileen was talking about her love life.

This is a wonderful picture book for young boys and girls, which has beautiful illustrations of ballet dancers and their teacher. The book helps children to learn the numbers 1-10 and it teaches them how to count. I read this book with my daughter who loves ballet and I used to do ballet when I was young, so we really loved this book. I especially loved how the book taught the french words and meanings of each ballet movement. This is a book that I will read again with my daughter and I highly recommend it.

My daughter and I really loved this book. It was a fun book about mermaids and other creatures who live under the sea. Violet, Wally and the other characters were so cute and my daughter loved the story about Violet and Wally going to school and going on a detective hunt to find out who was responsible for doing graffiti on the local buildings. The story, characters and illustrations were fantastic. I highly recommend this book; it was really good!

This audiobook is set in Wales and I really loved the book and the narrator's pleasant voice and welsh accent. It was a fun and uplifting book, which was a joy to listen to. The story follows 2 women called Wanda and Annie and their journeys in the village of Gobaith. I loved most of the characters of the book and the different scenarios which all came together to form an uplifting adventure. I also loved the campsite setup with the outdoors vibe, as well as the gardening story from Annie and Wanda's travelling adventure. I enjoyed the friendships in the book, the family stories and the romance. It was just overall a lovely, feel good book to listen to while I was doing my gardening and housework. I really loved it and would highly recommend it!

This book is about a woman called Lizzie Dixon who gets dumped by her posh boyfriend Giles and then goes on to make a new, happier life back in Wynbridge. Her friends Jemma and Tom from Wynbridge have set up The Cherry Tree Cafe and they ask Lizzie to help them with it, giving her a place to stay above the cafe. Lizzie enjoys helping them, as well as doing crafting classes in the cafe and getting to know a man called Ben who she knows from her younger days.
I enjoyed this audiobook and I liked the narrator's voice, which was very pleasant. The Netgalley app was easy to use as well.

This is a children's picture book about 2 cats called Remy and Callie who become friends and Remy helps Callie to find her voice. The book has beautiful illustrations and a nice story about friends who help each other and take care of each other. It shows that it is ok not to be able to do the same as another person, such as speaking. In the book, the cat only spoke when she was ready to. This can be useful to show a child who has not yet spoken; to let them know that it is ok to speak when they feel ready to do so. I read this book with my daughter and she enjoyed it, although the book was a little bit long for her to concentrate on and it was a bit repetitive. However, it was still a good book and one that we will read together again.

I enjoyed this book, although I did find it a bit bizarre. It was a cleverly written thriller about a bunch of elite people who are based in Savannah. The two main characters are called Marcie and Keisha and the story follows both of them on their adventures within different families. They are quite complex characters, with both of them having a similar past. In the book there is a lot of sex, secrets, voodoo, cheating, lying, drug and alcohol taking and murder.
Although I did enjoy this book, I will be honest and say that I did prefer Sarah's other book 'Behind Her Eyes'.

This book shows children how to be kind to the planet that we live on, by taking care of the air, land and water. When we take care of the earth, the earth helps us in return. The book has lovely photos and simple words that children will enjoy. There is also a learning area at the end of the book which shows a note to caregivers, reading activities and a word list. I read this book with my daughter and we both enjoyed it.

I read this book with my daughter and we enjoyed the story and the lovely, bright illustrations. The book was about a lion and a tortoise who wanted to marry a princess. The lion was arrogant and was always dancing and the tortoise was slow, but he was clever. The King announced that the one who built a house for the princess the fastest would win her hand in marriage. Who was the winner?

This is a lovely book which I read with my daughter and we really enjoyed it. The book is about a little girl who makes a rainbow to put on her window, using art supplies and other objects around the house, while she is in lockdown with her family. I liked the positivity of the book and how the little girl felt safe while she interacted with her friends and family, even though she had to stay at home.

I read this book with my daughter and to be honest, she was a bit scared by it. We liked the cats in it, but she was scared of the witch and the darker illustrations where the witch was sick. Some of the illustrations were lovely, but others were too scary for us. The ending of the book was a bit strange and we were unsure what had happened. I then worked out that the witch had allergies to the cats which had caused her to be sick. If this book was made in a lighter way with less scary illustrations, then it would be more suited to younger children. It isn't a book that I will read again with my daughter, but I appreciated getting the chance to read it. It would perhaps be a good book for older children to read at Halloween.

I read this book with my daughter and we loved it. My daughter kept asking me to read it again as she enjoyed it so much. The writing and the illustrations are lovely.
The book is about a girl called Imani who goes to the park to meet her friends at the sandbox. All of her friends have different colours of skin, eyes and hair and they celebrate this, exclaiming that they all look like beautiful different flowers in a garden. I love the way that the book shows children how to accept each other the way they are, no matter what they look like. This is a very important teaching in this day and age.

I read this book with my daughter and we enjoyed it. The book is about a boy called Sammy who has a lot of anger issues. He meets a dog who teaches him martial arts in order for him to control his anger and be more mindful and calm. I showed my daughter the martial arts technique in the book and we were practicing it. The book has a lot of nice illustrations and it is very colourful.

My daughter and I really enjoyed reading this awesome children's book. It had a lot of great photographs of animals that were made using pieces of fruit and vegetables. It was very interesting and I look forward to trying out some of these cute food recipes. We enjoyed looking at the photos, talking about the animals, talking about each type of food which made up each animal and talking about the colours of each piece of food. I highly recommend this book and perhaps it would help children who are fussy eaters to explore more healthy food options.

I enjoyed this book a lot. The book is about a woman called Tess Tyler who is very stressed while she is working full time for her father. She is in need of a break, especially after finding out some shocking news about her recently departed mother. She goes to Wynmouth for a holiday, which is a seaside town she loved to visit when she was a child. Here she finds beautiful scenery, relaxation, some wonderful friends and some romance too. Will she be able to leave this stunning place? I loved reading about the seaside and the characters. The story was a bit predictable, but it was still very enjoyable.

Wow, this is the best children's book that I have ever read! I read this book with my daughter and we both really loved it. I highly recommend this wonderful, magical book! Both the story and the illustrations are amazing.
The book is about a little girl called Alana, who finds a glowing crystal and has a beautiful dream because of it. She shares the crystal with her friends, who also go on to have these beautiful dreams.. They then go on a magical adventure to recreate what they experienced in the dreams and along the way they make new friends, who they help. All of the children learn about magic, wonder, transformation, sharing, love and kindness.
This book reminded me of the awesome adventure books that I read in my childhood, by the author Enid Blyton.

My daughter and I read this book a few times and she really enjoyed looking at the bright, colourful pictures. It is a book that I will read over again with her as she gets older and I am sure she will understand it more as she grows.
The book is an A-Z of different careers that one can choose when they grow up and the book shows each career name and a small description of what each career involves, in relation to each letter of the alphabet. For example, for the letter B the book lists Beekeeper as the career.
This would be a great book for use in any educational setting.

I read this cute little book 3 times with my daughter and she loved it. The book is about Lily and Milo, who go outside on a snowy winter day to feed the birds and make a snowman. It is a basic story, but one that my daughter really enjoyed. The illustrations are lovely and I liked the way that the book asks what clothes Lily and Milo should wear to go outside.

I read this book 3 times with my daughter and we both enjoyed it. The book is about a little monster who loved nature so much that he tried to put items from nature into bottles, in order to keep them for himself and enjoy them inside his home. However, he soon realised that it was not possible to keep these items in bottles, as they withered and died over time. This was a good lesson for him and at the end of the book he decided to stop bottling nature items and just go outside and enjoy nature as it was, in all its glory, at different times of the year.

I read this book with my daughter 4 times and we both enjoyed it. The book is about a little girl called Lucy who loses her favourite cuddly toy while she is on holiday.. She was very sad about losing her toy and this made my daughter feel sad.. We spoke about how she would feel if she lost her faviourite toy. As the story went on, Lucy went through many feelings of loss and her family and friends supported her. She was gifted a new cuddly toy which she loved, but she never forgot about her favourite toy, who always had a place in her heart. She learned how to come to terms with her feelings and how to live with loss and grief. At the end of the book there was a happy ending which made me smile.

This is a fabulous children's book with beautiful illustrations and very informative writing. My daughter and I learned a lot by reading this book together and it is a book that I will read more with her. She enjoyed looking at the illustrations while I read the words to her.
The book shows how to be more earth friendly, while each description relates to a letter of the alphabet. We learned how to recycle and donate unwanted items, how to save water, how to have less waste, how to compost, that we should do more in our local community, that we should make our own items, that we should use less plastic, how the trees and bees help us and much more! This would be a great book to use in schools. We loved this book.

I was really happy to be back with Kim and her team for another wonderful story! This time Kim and her team were investigating a new age cult, to find out what had happened to certain people who had gone missing from it and some people who had died in relation to it.
I really enjoyed this book. I had been finding it to be a slower read than Angela's others books and I was going to give it 4 stars, however, the last quarter of the book picked up the pace and was more exciting and this made me give the book 5 stars. I was surprised at who the killer was and I enjoyed the psychology in the book and learning more about how a cult and mind control works.
I am looking forward to reading the next installment of Kim and her team when that time comes! Angela Marsons is one of my favourite authors and I have read nearly all of her books now.

I read this book with my daughter and we both really enjoyed the story and the illustrations. It is a book that I will read again with her as she gets older, as it contains many valuable lessons.
The story is about a girl called Nala who goes into her papa's office without permission and accidentally breaks his favourite mug, which makes her feel anxious and upset. She hides in her bedroom and is afraid to tell her parents what she has done. Her parents have a discussion with her about honesty and trust and she opens up to them about what happened with the mug. They tell her that she should always come to them and tell them the truth, so that they can then work things out in an honest and open way and that it is important to have trust within the family.
The author says that 'With A Circle of Trust, there is no beginning and no end, which signifies that your love for one another is endless and will last forever.' I loved this saying.

I read this book with my daughter and we both thought it was a fun, exciting book. The book is about a cat who is in her house looking for her bunny friend. We didn't realise until we got to the end of the book that the bunny was actually on each page of the book, hiding from the cat, in different places in each room of the house. It was fun to find this out and we went back and read the story again, pointing out where the bunny was hiding. The illustrations of the book were wonderful and together with the fun aspect of the story, we both loved this book and will read it again.

I read this great book with my daughter and we both loved it and enjoyed it very much. The story is about a dog called Dudley and his animal friends, who go to school and learn about nouns. The writing is very good and the illustrations are beautiful. My daughter loved the animals and the story, although she is still a bit young to understand what nouns mean, so it is a book that I will read a lot to her in the future, even when she is older, as it will help her understand how to remember the different types of nouns.

I really enjoyed this psychological thriller by Mark Edwards. I found it exciting and I was always looking forward to picking it up to read more of it. I enjoyed reading about the different characters and finding out who was behind the main plot of the story. I highly recommend this book and I gave it 4 stars.
